Gangubai Kathiawadi is showing a good jump at the box office on Saturday. The film is reporting good growth in the region of 25-30%. This is fantastic news considering the film already did well on opening day.
Gangubai occupancy report for day two is given below. The film is doing exceptionally well in the Maharashtra belt. Business in the rest of India also picked up today and is decent to good now. There is a 50% occupancy cap in various parts of India which is also hampering the overall occupancy for the day.
The early trend suggests Gangubai 2nd day collection is heading towards a 13 (+/-) crore net range. These are early estimates from the limited samples and the final count for the day may vary. Gangubai two day total is now trending towards a respectable 23 (+/-) crore net range.
Gangubai critic's reports are on the positive side. The initial audience's word of mouth is also on the positive side. We expect the film to grow further on Sunday. Although jump may be on the limited side as the film is already performing in the upper level in a good number of places.
