Gangubai Kathiawadi First Day Box Office Collection Early Estimates, Good Start

Gangubai Kathiawadi has taken a good start at the Indian Box Office as early trends for the opening day are coming in. This has come as a respite for the whole industry as Gangubai is the biggest release post third wave of coronavirus in India. It also suggests audiences are now almost ready to visit theaters to watch cinema on the big screens.

Gangubai started slowly in the morning shows of Friday with occupancy reported around 20%. Film reported limited growth in the noon shows and recorded 25% occupancy. The film showed a big jump from the evening onward and as per the latest is registering a good 40% occupancy. This is considering there is 50% occupancy capping in various states of India.

Gangubai is doing pretty well in the Maharashtra belt on day one. In the rest of India, although film started slowly in the morning, it picked up pace from evening onward. 

It is too early to make a prediction for the day. Still, going by the current trend Gangubai Kathiawadi first day collection is heading towards a 9 (+/-) crore net range. These are early estimates from limited samples. Major reports from interiors are awaited at this moment. Plus night and late night show reports are awaited for the day. Hence, the final count for the day may vary.
