Pushpa: The Rise - Part 01 may have entered the fourth week but don't be surprised if the film continues to surprise such at the box office again. The film has not only retained screens for the week four but at many cinema halls shows are increased as there are no major new releases.
It means the film has got literally a free run now as collections of other holdover releases, 83 and Spider-Man are coming to a lower level. Pushpa might be unstoppable again.
As early samples of Pushpa are coming for the 4th Friday film is performing on par with 3rd Thursday. At places, collections are even better. This is terrific news. It means a 1.5-2 crore net business for 4th Friday (22nd Day) is a possibility. Major reports from interiors are awaited and if the film performs exceptionally well there then the final total for the day may come even higher than the 3rd Thursday (day 21). Simply fabulous! Pushpa's dominance at the Indian Box Office continues.
Spider-Man and 83 are reporting a drop this Friday. However, the good news is that both films have managed to retain good enough screens for the week and should register a good jump on Saturday and Sunday.
Coming to Spider-Man first. Film 4th Friday (day 23) collection is heading towards 50-60 lakh net finish. The film is reporting a drop of 30-35% from 4th Thursday and that is very much acceptable. Again these are early estimates and the final count for the day may vary.
83 is reporting a significant drop of 40% or so on the 3rd Friday (15th day). That means the film's Day 15 collection is heading towards a poor 60-65 (+/-) lakh net range. However, in all the negative, the most positive news is that film will now enter the 100 crore club. 100 crore net mark should be breached by the end of Sunday or Monday depending on the growth it sees through the weekend.
