Pushpa: The Rise - Part 01 has shown solid hold on Third Tuesday (19th day) at the box office. As samples for the day are coming in, the film is reporting a drop of 15% or so from the previous day. Drop is nominal and very much acceptable.
Pushpa is continuing its glorious run at the box office despite entering 3rd weekdays. The holiday period is over and despite that film is unstoppable. Since the holiday period is over, third weekdays may see a bigger drop than usual. But a drop is acceptable as long as it is below 20% on weekdays.
Pushpa's Hindi version has literally got a free run now. The film will run in theaters as long as cinema halls remain open. Yes, cinema halls are getting closed and restrictions are strict now as the third wave of coronavirus is slowly engulfing the nation.
Pushpa Hindi Day 19 total is heading towards a 2.25 (+/-) crore net range. These are early estimates and the final count for the day may vary. The film is doing pretty well on single screens in mass-dominated centers. Those reports are awaited. If film holds strongly there then actuals may come even higher and close to 3rd Monday numbers.
Pushpa Hindi's total collection at the end of Third Tuesday is heading towards an excellent 68 (+/-) crore net range. Film lifetime collection in India should cross the 80 crore net mark. As far as reaching the 100 crore net mark, the film needs to stay super strong for at least two more weeks. The question is whether cinema halls will remain open? Only time will tell. Pushpa is a Super Hit and is marching towards the Blockbuster verdict.
