83 has started better on Second Saturday (9th Day) morning shows. A better start is expected as today is New Year Holiday. Also, the film should see a further increase in occupancy as the day progresses.
83 has opened with 23-25% occupancy in the morning shows today. For the same, the 2nd Friday (8th Day) opening was 15-17%. It means a jump of 50% is seen when only morning shows are taken into account. It also means Day 9 business is all set to be higher than day 8.
83 had a decent start on 2nd Friday. The film has so far collected 76.5 (+/-) crore net approx in the first 8 days. The film is on track now to touch 100 crore net in India. As Jersey is postponed it has got a free run now. 83 may collect a few more even after touching 100. But that is simply not enough as it needs much more. Let's see how much ground film can recover in the second weekend now.
