Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is the new release of the week and the film is released on good 2500 screens across India. The film has decent face value considering it stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor. Hope the film does well at the box office in the coming days.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui has taken a slow start at the box office on Friday (First Day) morning shows. As early samples are coming in it has taken an opening of 10% or so. The opening is better in Delhi and the Northern belt whereas it is below average in the rest of India.
10% opening is actually not a bad start if we consider that it has the potential to grow as the day progresses. The film is also having a more or less wide release and a decent occupancy will take the first-day business to a decent zone.
There is no doubt that the content of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is unique. But despite the unique concept, the content should be good and entertaining. If film provides all that then there is a possibility of a big jump on Saturday and Sunday. Let's be positive and see how things unfold in the coming days.
