83 is going steady on weekdays, although collections have come down drastically. Cinema halls are closed in Delhi and it has further impacted the box office performance of the film.
83 opens with 10-11% occupancy on Thursday (7th day) morning shows. Opening for the same was 11-12% on Wednesday. That means a marginal drop of 10% or so is seen when only morning shows are taken into account.
83 has collected 66 crore net approx in the first six days. Film first week collection is heading towards 70+ crore net range. Ideally, the film needed to touch or go close to the 100 crore net mark by the end of the first week itself. It looks like film will remain much below the par score now.
