Sooryavanshi is trending superbly on Tuesday (day 5) at the box office as early trends for the day is coming in. Thus, the film is heading for another big day and is almost certain to touch 100 crore net in five days flat. It is not only celebration time for the makers but also for the whole film industry, and exhibition sector as cinema viewing is back with a bang.
Sooryavanshi opened to 12-13% occupancy in the morning shows today. Film registered a jump in noon and afternoon shows and registered 23-24% occupancy. Film registered further growth in the evening time and as per the latest registered 35% occupancy. When samples of Tuesday are compared to Monday, then there is a marginal drop of just 10-15%.
Occupancy Report of Sooryavanshi for Tuesday (Samples only) -
Morning - 12-13% (Mon - 14%)
Noon + Afternoon - 23-24% (Mon - 25-30%)
Evening - 35% (Mon - 38-40%)
The early trend suggests, Sooryavanshi Fifth Day Collection is trending towards a 12-13 crore net range. This is simply fabulous. These are early estimates from the limited samples we have at this moment. The final count will be higher or lower depending on how the film performs in the night shows and also will depend on interior reports.
Sooryavanshi five day total is heading towards 103-104 crore net range. The film should do a business of 120 crores plus in the first week itself. Solid trending on Monday and Tuesday has almost ensured that film will easily touch 150 crore net. 2nd Friday collection will determine whether the film can challenge 175 or even 200 crore net business in India or not.
