Sooryavanshi has performed very well on the third weekend. The film stayed solid on the 3rd Friday and then showed good to excellent growth on the 3rd Saturday and 3rd Sunday. Thus, it has put up 12 crore plus for the weekend. Now it is up to the weekdays.
As we have the samples of Morning and Noon shows for Third Monday (18th Day), the film is holding pretty well. When samples are compared to the 3rd Friday then a drop of 50% or little less is seen. This is good news considering 3rd Friday was a holiday in a few parts of India. Any drop of less than 50% is good for a working Monday.
As thing stands Sooryavanshi Day 18 box office collection is trending towards a 1.5-1.75 crore net range. Numbers will go high or low depending on how it performs in the evening and night shows. It means the film is on track to touch 180 crore net by the end of 3rd Monday. If not then it will breach that mark in the morning time of the 3rd Tuesday (19th day).
Sooryavanshi has emerged as a Clean Hit. The film is on track to be a Super Hit and for that, it needs to stay strong through the weekdays now and also need to do decent business in week four and five.
As far as 200 crore net is concerned, trends suggest it will be touch and go. The film should touch 190 crore net in the coming days. How it will stand against big releases like Antim and Satyameva Jayate 2 will decide whether it can touch 200 in India or not.
