Sooryavanshi has smashed 150 crore net in the first 10 days at the box office. This is simply outstanding considering the film was released post-pandemic and even a 100 crore net would have been respectable numbers.
Prior to release, there were lots of ifs and buts and Sooryavanshi passed and conquered all of them with flying colors. Now the film is on second weekdays. Business from here on will determine whether it has legs to march towards 200 crore net in India or not.
Now coming to 2nd Monday (11th day) occupancy report for the morning shows. The film has opened to 7% occupancy in the morning. For the same samples, Sooryavanshi Friday morning shows opening was around 9%. That means an occupancy drop of 20-25% is seen. The business drop will be a bit more as ticket prices are lower today.
