Bell Bottom has put up a low extended first week total at the box office. This is on expected lines as cinema halls are closed in Maharastra and few other states of India. Also, occupancy in halls was capped at 50%. However, on the other hand, collections could have been better also. Overall box office business of Bell Bottom in week one is below par.
2nd Friday collection report will determine whether film's lifetime business will wrap up in around 25 crore net or whether it will go beyond that. Considering the film opening on 1st Thursday, a 30 crore net will be a decent total. But on the other side, the distributor share will be less than 15 crores which is simply shocking to say. Yes in normal circumstances Bell Bottom is a loss-making project but these are special times and it is all about recovery now.
Collection Breakup -
Thursday - 2.8 crore net
Friday - 2.7 crore net
Saturday - 3.2 crore net
Sunday - 4.5 crore net
Monday - 1.9 crore net
Tuesday - 1.35 crore net
Wednesday - 1.25 crore net
Thursday - 1-1.25 crore net approx
Total - 18.7-18.95 crore net approx
