Mumbai Saga is a bit down on the second day at the box office as early trends for the day are coming in. Plus, theatres are also getting closed as coronavirus second wave is on the rise. This is not a piece of good news for the film and the weekend business looks gloomy at this moment.
Mumbai Saga is registering an average occupancy of 10% on Saturday. The data are very limited at this moment. When samples are compared to Friday then there is a nominal drop in occupancy. Already Friday occupancy was at the lower level. Ideally, the film needed a jump on day 2 which is missing till the last report.
Mumbai Saga's second-day business is trending towards a 2-2.5 crore net range. Again, data are limited, and the actual may vary. It means there is a good possibility that film day 2 business will remain lower than day 1. Night shows are still left and we simply hope that the film recovers some ground in those remaining shows for the day.
Mumbai Saga ground-level reports are not that bad. In fact audience word of mouth is mixed to positive. This can be said as decent. Critic's word of mouth is also decent. The biggest problem for the film is that the second wave has struck big time in India now. And because of them, the lockdown has started in places and due to which cinema halls are getting closed again. The current situation is really unfortunate and it is badly hampering Mumbai Saga's progress at the box office.
