We are the Backbone of Indian Film Industry - Reaction of MAI on Unlock 2.0 Notification

Multiplex Association of India has reacted very strongly to the Unlock 2.0 notification of Govt of India. They have now written to the Ministry of Home Affairs stating their helplessness after knowing the plans of the unlock 2.0.

MAI is highly disappointed that GOI is not looking into their matters. They are the backbone of the Indian Film Industry and employ 2,00,000 people directly. Plus, they are generating revenues for millions of people in India. The livelihood of spot boys to make up artists, musicians, designers, technicians, and engineers to cinema employees to directors and actors - hinges on the survival of Indian cinema.
