Recently we have published an article on Most Watched Bollywood (Hindi) Films of All Time - Movies with Highest Footfall Ever.
In that post, we have mentioned that in total 72 Bollywood (Hindi) Films have touched or crossed the 3 crore footfalls. Another 22 Films have either went close to 3 crore footfall mark or in actual have touched that landmark.
If you have missed that article then kindly read that post again before moving forward.
Now it is interesting to see which actors have the highest no. of films which have touched 3 crore footfalls. Or we can say that which actors have starred in the highest no. of landmark 'HIT' films of Hindi Cinema ever. We think 'Footfall' (number of tickets sold in cinema halls) is a good parameter to check that and especially compare actors of different generations.
Amitabh Bachchan leads the statistics by miles with around 11 films that have crossed 3 crore footfalls and another 1 in that vicinity. Dilip Kumar is 2nd in the list with 7 Films that have crossed 3 crore footfalls and another 3 Films in that vicinity. Salman Khan is 3rd in the list with 6 Films that have crossed 3 crore footfalls and another 2 Films in that vicinity.

ReplyDeleteBut you guys missed Deewar for Shashi Kapoor.
& also U should either mention that you are counting only Dhoom 3(Hindi) footfalls or get Dhoom 3 into a sureshot 3 crore footfalls club.
Please respond! 🙂
Dear Sachin Sourav,
DeleteDeewar is now added in Shashi Kapoor list. It was a mistake and now it is corrected. Dhoom 3 is touch and go including all language. Hence, mentioned in second category. One it is confirmed will update that.
Only Aamir with solo 5 films. All others had multistarrer
