Baaghi 3 is registering drop on Saturday (2nd day) at the box office as early trends for the day are coming in. This is not a good sign. Yes, there is a threat of Coronavirus but that was also on Friday. A jump or similar number on day 2 would have been a good sign.
Baaghi 3 opened to 20-22% occupancy in the morning shows today. Film registered a jump in noon time and recorded occupancy of 30%. Film registered further jump from evening onward and as per the latest registering occupancy of 40% or so.
Occupancy Report for Saturday (Samples only) -
Morning - 20-22% (Fri 20-25%)
Noon - 30% (Fri 30%)
Evening - 40% (Fri 45%)
When samples of Saturday and Friday are compared till 7 pm IST, then there is a drop of 5-10%. It means film second-day business is trending towards 15-16 crore net range. These are just early estimates from very limited samples.
Night shows are still to start off and major reports from interiors are awaited for the day. Hence, the final count for the day may vary.
