Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior Friday (1st Day) Collection Update for Morning Shows

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has taken a decent start at the box office in the morning shows. As early samples are coming in the film has opened decent and now needs to show good growth in the latter half of the day to put up a respectable first day total.

Tanhaji opened to 25% occupancy in the morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only. Single screen reports are awaited and opening should be better there for sure.

Tanhaji is released in 3300-3400 screens across India. The film has strong opposition in Chhappaak and it will make some dent in the business. Also, there is Good Newwz but that film is into the third week now and should not be a headache for Tanhaji.

The initial word of mouth of critics is on the positive side. But again that hardly matters. It is the audience report which matters and it will be out in a few hours' time. Once audience reports are out it will spread like a fire and will have the necessary effect at the box office. As today is a normal working day film should pick up from the evening time and should see growth on Saturday and Sunday.
