Dabangg 3 has shown good jump on Day 13 (2nd Wednesday) at the box office as early trends for the day are coming in. The film is, in fact, competing with 2nd Sunday numbers. The film got benefit from the New Year holiday. It will definitely help the film cause to go past 150 crore net mark now.
Dabangg 3 occupancy report for 2nd Wednesday is given below. The occupancy report of 2nd Sunday is given in bracket for comparison. There is a nominal drop of just 5% or so when samples are compared to 2nd Sunday. Interestingly film is having on par or even better occupancy than Sunday at various places.

If night shows and interiors do well numbers could go even a little higher and beyond 4 crore mark. It means Dabangg 3 total at the end of 2nd Wednesday is heading towards 146 plus crore net mark. The film will enter the 150 crore net club inside the third weekend now.

ReplyDeleteWhatever it collects is like the last breathe of a dying man. The movie has under performed. Clearly, Round 1 of Akshay vs Salman has been comprehensively won by Akshay Kumar. And with Sooryavanshi coming next, things are not looking good for Radhe. If Sooryavanshi turns out to be a 300+ Cr blockbuster (as is expected of it) then it is very much likely that trade could force Salman to shift his Radhe to another date. Ironical, isn't it!! Few years back Salman clearly muscled out SRK's Raees from EID for his Sultan. Today, the shoe seems to be on the wrong foot.
