Good Newwz First Day Box Office Collection Report, Good Start

Good Newwz had a good start at the box office on opening day (Friday). The film recorded 40% occupancy on day one and thus posted a good number. The film is carrying positive word of mouth and we should see a good jump on Saturday and Sunday.

Good Newwz has collected 17.55 crore net approx on 1st day. The film did well in multiplexes whereas business in single screens is low. Delhi-NCR belt performed the best. Metros and big cities did show good occupancy, especially in the leading multiplexes. However, business in B and C centers is average to low.

Good Newwz is slightly affected by the ongoing Anti CAA protest in certain parts of India. The protest is not as high as the last week. Still, there is slightly dent because of protest and loss of business is in the region of 50 lakh net approx.

Good Newwz will aim for 65-70 crore net business in the first weekend from here on. This should be a bare minimum target. If the film shows a big jump on both Saturday and Sunday then numbers could reach as high as 75 crore net mark. Initial word of mouth is on the positive side. Real ground-level reports will be known on 1st Monday.
