Dabangg 3 has shown a significant drop on Monday (4th day) at the box office. The film reported a drop of 55-60% from Friday which is big. Ideally, the film needed a much lesser drop in the range of 40% or even less.
Dabangg 3 added 10.7 crore net approx on day 5. Thus, the total business at the end of four days is 91.85 crore net approx. The film should touch 100 crore net in five days flat unless it registers further big drop today.
Dabangg 3 has underperformed so far. It was also affected by protests in the opening weekend. Although the protest effect was very less on Monday. Yes, there is unrest in certain places and it will take some time to be everything normal. Despite the protest, business is still lower than the expected level. Hope film recovers good ground on Tuesday and Wednesday as Christmas festive time arrives.
Collection Breakup -
Friday - 24.5 crore net
Saturday - 24.75 crore net
Sunday - 31.9 crore net

So, it took producers 4 hours extra to release the collection figures after Trade release!!! Calculator wasn't working well it seems... Would love to see if Samosa experts can call it fake this time.
ReplyDeletePeople are tired of such nonsensical movies... There should have never been dabangg 2 and 3. This franchise doesn't do justice to Dabangg!
ReplyDeleteIt's day 4 and still not got to 100cr, this is shocking for a Salman Khan movie.
ReplyDeleteBefore release, there was talk of Dabangg3 getting highest single day, and beating WAR collections. No chance now.
WAR was a different story, maybe Dabangg3 story should have been a different story too, instead of same same as D1 and D2.
Sad situation
