Dabangg 3 has opened on par or slightly better on 2nd Tuesday (12th day) than 2nd Monday in the morning shows. Today it is New Year eve and hence collections will get a boost. Dabangg 3 has today and tomorrow to collect as much as possible as the business is set to go down from 2nd Thursday onward.
Dabangg 3 opened to 12% occupancy in the morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only. For the same, the 2nd Monday opening was 11-12%.

Dabangg 3 has collected 140 crore net approx in the first 11 days. The film is now targeting 150 crore net in India. This is a decent number considering film faced lot of issues in the opening week. Yes, this is also true that numbers are below par considering the Salman Khan star factor.

Salman now cannot take his fan base for granted by making films like jai ho, dabangg2, race3 etc. Although I thought with tubelight and bharat he tried something different and I sincerely thought bharat was a very well made film and tubelight was boredom.

It might well mark the end of the Khan era and there is no harm in admitting as they ruled and entertained us for 30 long years. This might benefit the likes of Hrithik and Akshay to see superstardom like how rajesh, Amitabh and Salman witnessed. You never know

ReplyDeleteIt's 126 crs as per boi n the fact that likes of chichore,dreamgirl have scored big numbers than dabang 3 numbers sums up everything.frankly multiplexes audience are very smart,they are not gonna spare tapori type of commercial movies.i even doubt on radhe now as it's clashing with another super content oriented movie laxmi bomb.

Salman really need to work on his script every time giving same line will not work though I m his die hard fan but this time I didn't turned to watch the movie as trailer of film was showing his presence in all the department from songs to direction.i think he should focus on acting and script rather handling all the departments.
