Dabangg 3 1st Day (Friday) Collection Early Trends, Good Day on Cards!

Before coming to Dabangg 3 first day early trends. There is a piece of bad news for movie lovers in India. 

We like to state that collections of Dabangg 3 are badly affected in the U.P and certain parts of N.C.R. Plus there is agitation (protest) in certain parts of the Rest of India because of Citizen Amendment Act (C.A.A). As per our estimate, 15-20% of businesses will be down because of this ongoing protest and issues. It may be more and will be known once circuit data arrive. 

It may not be an issue for small or moderate film. But for Dabangg 3 large portion of business comes from all corners of India and hence affect is more. We hope that the issue is resolved soon or business will be further affected on Saturday and Sunday.


Now coming to Dabangg 3 Friday Business. The film opened to a decent 20-25% occupancy in the morning shows. The film showed growth in noon time and registered occupancy of 35%. The film has picked up well from evening onward and as per the latest it is reporting occupancy of 55%. Had there been no protest across India, occupancy would have been much better.

Occupancy Report for Friday (Samples only) - 

Morning - 20-25%

Noon-Afternoon - 35%

Evening-Night - 55%

No doubt Dabangg 3 is the weakest start for any Salman Khan films in recent times. The film is set to lose 4-5 crores at least pan India because of this ongoing law and order situation. Damage might be more. Again, we will have a clear idea once pan India actuals are received tomorrow morning.

As per early trends, Dabangg 3 First Day Collection at this moment is heading towards 21-22 crore net mark. Major interior reports and night show reports are awaited. The final count will be higher or lower depending on those mentioned factors. The start is good but could have been better. Despite this so-called protest, if Dabangg 3 closed on 25 crore net for the day that would have been a fantastic start to the box office campaign. That is still possible and for that film needs to perform fantastic in B and C centers whose reports are awaited.

      Are u live in India or not? As mentioned in article there is severe unrest regarding CAA. Plus advance booking also started very late.and honestly huge craze was not there like previous films.

    1st of all, this 20% business loss is an exaggeration. Except for handful of places in Delhi, most of the cinema halls & multiplexes are running. Business could only be affected 20% in Delhi. In rest of India, it isn't won't be more than 8 to 10%. However, even if we accept 4/5 crore of business loss & include it in the final tally then also, a final total of 25/26 Crores on 4500 Screens isn't very awe-inspiring. This is less than half of War's first day collection despite being released on 20% lesser screens. It's even less than the 1st day of Mission Mangal which was released in clash on only 3100 screens & was a niche film.

    Evening n night shows performing very good as per book my show n definitely protest effect in ncr n other part of India just watch news channel everywhere protest is going on still it doing good business n word of mouth positive.the only problem is salman khan ego hurting the film late advance booking started.
    Still it will do good weekend business around 80 to 90cr.plus Christmas holiday 30 plus crore week 1 it will do 160cr week 2 good news will take screen still 50 to 60 cr will collect within 3rd weekend. Life time 215 to 230cr.
    Day1 25cr my prediction n as per night show.
    If film recover 2mrow picture will be different n life time will go around 250cr.salman khan teams overconfidence hurting movie.

    आप सभी समझदार लोगो से यही अनुरोध है कि ,,, आपको फ़िल्म नही देखनी हो तो ,इतनी नकारात्मक बातें ना करें , फ़िल्म अच्छी है तो आराम से सुपरहिट होगी , क्रिटिक्स ने अपने रिव्यु दे दिए हैं ,, अधिकतर रिव्यु सकारात्मक है, जनता सब समझदार है , उसको अच्छा लगेगा वो ही देखेगी ,,, मगर हम सबको नकारात्मक बाते नही करनी चाहिए ,,

    with percentage occupancies of 25, 30 and 40 respactively on second day, war collected 24.35 crores. now the percentage occupancies of D3 on day 1 which is 25, 35 and 55 respectively, you are saying that it will collect 22 crores. how is that possible. D3 has 1000 screens more than war and the ticket price are the same.Its all in the archive of this site. can you explain that, please.

    Panauti Sohail Khan even 5 seconds presence is enough to make salman's movie flop. Salman bhai stop promoting your nalayak Brothers and do some sensible movies, stop taking your fans for granted. Stop dabangg franchise, first installment ws masterpiece. You are ruining the cult status of the first part.

    200 odd shows got canceled for night shows..that's a big chunk especially Friday audiences come mostly for night show. Clear loss of around 8 crores mentioned by boxofficeindia.com
