Top Bollywood Hits of 2016.

Year 2016 has been strictly average in terms of box office business for Bollywood films. Barely few movies, all others have been flop left and right. If we exclude business done by Dangal and Sultan then can be said as a disappointing year so far.

With multiple films releasing every week, we have only a few handful which can be posted as successful or plus film at box office. Only 14 films have emerged as successful or plus film. 

Year 2016 saw only 8 films entering into 100 crore club. In fact Dangal and Sultan are the only films which crossed 140 crore nett mark and entered both 200 and 300 crore club this year. Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have been big saviour for box office, otherwise it is extremely dull period for exhibitors and distributors. Biggest surprise of the year is Neerja which has exceeded all trade expectation and emerged as Super Hit.
