Here is the list of only a few special movies who not only ruled box office and heart of every audience but also remained the highest grosser for a long decade (10 years) or can be termed as Highest Grosser of the Decade (HGOTD). These are classics which are liked by every movie lover and remained in their heart for a long time. 

Barsaat (1949) is the first HGOTD of the 1940-1949 and Dangal being the latest for 2010-2019.

    Where is Gadar Ek Prem Katha ? admin correction please Gadar Break Ham Apky Hain Koun & Sholy Record and Gadar also have a record Movie of Decade and Footfalls Sunny Deol is the tiger of Bollywood

    It is now safe to say Salman bhai and Aamir has surpassed anything Amitabh Bachchan achieved in he's career. Aamir and Salman bhai have been rolling the roost for 28/29 years now with SRK making a appearance in between. But these days SRK is competing with the likes of Ranbir and Ranvir, if SRK next film isn't a blockbuster he'll be in big trouble. The directors he looked down upon like Rohit Shetty was the one who saved him, now imagine if CE was a flop then it would have been game over for SRK.
